It is well known that there were many Get directly involved in Holocaust. The Get saw it as a way of purging imperfection and reinstating the impurgnium across the land. The Black Spirals saw it as a way of spreading their taint and corruption among those who viewed themselves above that sort of thing. There are very few members of the Get who would admit that they lost any of their line to the worm during those days but the truth remains that few if any who were involved in the atrocities committed during those days escaped with out worm taint.

Margaret "Betrayer" Van Burg was no exception. Working at ashawhich when the camp was at full swing she was approached by a strangely enchanting man and joined forces with him when he promised her equity among those who would follow. Listening to his seductive voice she was convinced to aid him in the opening of a caern in the vicinity so with the furnaces going night and day the two of them were joined by his pack mates and began the rite. By the time she realized what she had played a part too it was too late and she was gazing into the face of the worm. To this day she views this event as her rescue from oppression. Among her own she would have never been viewed as much more then another woman, Among the BSD she is a leader and treated with respect - So long as she remains strong and useful. She has given birth to several Metis cubs with the strange man who befriended her - Nightmares Challenge.
